Meet the Team

Owner/ President

Lisa Taylor was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She is married with four children and one grandchild. Having been in the window and door industry since 2007, Taylor has worked with all kinds of windows: from the most affordable aluminum and vinyl to the most luxurious Italian steel, and everything in between. While raising her children, Taylor completed her bachelor’s in business administration at the University of North Florida in 2014. Later, she went on to earn her MBA in 2019 from Florida Atlantic University, all while serving the Jacksonville window and door industry in her professional life.

American Window Products, Inc, has been a family owned and operated business since its opening in 1981, and is one of the few female-owned business in the construction industry. As the daughter of local business owners, Taylor is proud to continue the family tradition of serving the Jacksonville community through herself and two of her children, who work alongside her at the company. Taylor cherishes the opportunity to provide members of the community with products and services that meet everyone’s needs at an affordable price.

Operations & Service Manager

Florida native Karen Tomberlin joined the team in 2022 after nearly two decades in accounting and customer service. She managed our Service Department before advancing to Operations & Service Manager. Now, Karen leverages her unique expertise to manage all aspects of our daily operations. Whether she is dealing with product, installations, or customer concerns, Karen solves every problem with enthusiasm and dedication.

She is married with three children and nine grandchildren. On the weekends, she enjoys attending her grandchildren’s baseball games, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

Our Office staff strives to provide five-star customer service. Steve joined the company in 2025 after a 40-year career in the window and door industry. He specializes in custom home builder installations and our Andersen Windows product lines. His decades of expertise in custom luxury brands guide us as we continue to expand our product range. Steve met his wife, Lisa Taylor, through the window and door industry, and three of their four children currently work in the industry alongside them.

Ryan has been an AWP All-Star since joining the family in 2015. His long career means he knows the best solution for every home and family and the best way to make it happen. Ryan is married with four children, and eager to help you with your own full house (of windows).

Sales & Purchasing Manager

Born in Jacksonville and raised in the window and door industry, James Omlor knows this business from installation to sales to purchasing the best materials for your projects. His training, expertise, and knowledge of multiple brands makes him an invaluable member of our team. AWP is his family in more ways than one, as James' mother and sister work with him at the business. Throughout your experience with us, you can rest assured that James will treat you with professionalism and courtesy.

Grant came to AWP as a market analyst and served as an installer before joining our sales team. As an analyst, he studied every aspect of our operations to optimize how we serve our customers. As an installer, he acquired hands-on knowledge of our products and installation process. For every style and budget, Grant can guide you from start to finish.
